Plant - r/dogs. Posted by u/sadbirdfox 2 days ago 2 My dog gave me a heart attack. I woke up from a nap in the hammock to a dog who appeared bloody. BBQ sauce y'all. She's covered in BBQ sauce. Someone in my neighborhood is also missing ribs.

Font - Labs..... Why???? I have to add an edit. My backyard is double fenced. They were beef ribs. She didn't swallow any bones. A lot of people are being hateful about me being a bad dog owner. Sometimes even the best dogs get out and go on adventures. We live in a very tight-knit community with a dog park in between our houses. The random dog showing up is no surprise. Y'all petty... I paid my neighbor for the ribs. She was laughing so hard she lost her breath.

Font - Oceylot 2 days ago My dog did the same thing! We came home from errands to her covered in what we thought was blood along with the couch. We thought she had killed one of the cats, but everyone was accounted for. No wounds on anyone. Then I found the empty red food coloring container. It was on the counter and I have no idea what possessed her to want to eat it. It's not like it probably smelled that appetizing. But I was very relieved after lol

Font - red_fox_zen 2 days ago This is my nyla. Take out food included 2 full pieces of bread on the back counter (not back enough, apparently) wrapped in plastic. Took 3 or 4 days with constant worry. No vet because this wasn't the first time she's eaten something mf wrapper and all, THERE WERENT ANY APPARENT BITE MARKS FFS! yes, I had to take it apart with a stick to make sure it was the plastic because that's an emergency call to vet to come here and check her out, or probably be told to go th

Font - saaandi 2 days ago A labs gunna lab. One of my clients dogs..(daycare) he'd come in with gum, paint, marker, nail polish, (he was a white lab) stained green from fresh cut grass. Everytime he'd come in we'd say “what did avi eat this time" so we knew what to expect coming out of him. He ate chunks of grass (like the wet clipping chunks from after you cut the grass) got into the kids Halloween candy (wrappers and all) the owners tried to be nice and bring us homemade brownies for Xmas one

Font - PhoenixGate69 - 2 days ago I once knew a half lab/half Great Dane that looked like a Great Dane sized black lab with these brilliant blue eyes. When I met him, he was sulking all the time because he had recently had obstruction surgery. The teenager in the house spilled pizza, decided to clean it up with a bath towel, and this adorable big dumb idiot ate it, towel and all.

Font - anaphasedraws - 2 days ago Oh man. Memorable things our lab - Dane mix ate: • A 21b loaf of Italian bread • A wheel of brie • An entire large salami • Two packages of hamburger buns • A container of Whoopie pies ● A giant burrito • One left suede glove • One left suede glove from a replacement pair of gloves • The covers off of multiple baseballs, stolen from the park • A tray of raw eggs left over from an egg fight at the park • A soggy sleeve of saltines in the gutter • A bowl of Buffal

Font - Wild-Kitchen 2 days ago My lab has had 3 emergency visits in the last 12 months to get her stomach 'pumped' (just forcing vomiting). • 3kg of chilli con carne • two dark chocolate brown cakes • 2 blocks of chocolate We have a gate to the kitchen to stop her (allegedly) but it doesn't always catch and she's a smart little turd.

Font - Abusty-Ballerina- 2 days ago - edited 2 days ago The first time we took Finn to the river, he got off leash. He ended up on one side of a river bank and us on the other. We can't call to him because he is Deaf. We watched helplessly as he literally crouched down and snuck between two oblivious river goers and delicately reached in their bucket of KFC and and pulled out a crispy chicken thigh and then bolted We finally made it across the river and leashed him. Still the funniest Learning e

Font - Distinct Meringue - 2 days ago One night there was a blizzard and the drifts let Princess, my GSD/Cocker go over the fence, so she came home, came in thru the dog door, and woke me up at about 6 AM. Friends she was covered in blood. Scared me to death. Then she started vomiting. Blood. and Chunks of something. Meat. I'm checking her over and find no injuries. Meat? We would have rushed her to the vet, but the roads were impassable... So my partner went out and solved the mystery. The neig

Font - Brotherdodge 2 days ago Oh man. I once woke up about 3am on Christmas night to my beagle trying to bury something under my pillow. It was a turkey wing, and turned out she'd managed to pry open the fridge and eat roughly her own body weight in leftovers. Just to twist the knife, our other dog was on the loungeroom floor happily spooning a leg of ham.

Font - evilgiraffe04 2 days ago Omgosh I have a lab story. I have three dogs total. A male border collie, a male lab, and a female lab. My female lab (Rosie) is a happy, chonky girl. A few years ago I had a graduation party where we grilled and had beers by the fire (got my bachelors at 34!). The next day Rosie wouldn't eat, she cried when she moved, and just laid around like she was in pain. I panicked because I know labs are prone to having their stomachs flip which does not end well. I called
